Main vs Extension

The extension unit does not include a power adapter, controller, or sensor. A dual-link cable is included. It must be connected to a main filter controller to run in sync mode, and both motors advance together when the main sensor triggers. Dual-filter set up is highly recommended for tanks with two filter chambers, especially tanks above 25 gallons, though a single main filter will still work better than filter socks.

⚠ Fleece Roll WarningPlease do not use third-party fleece rolls. Differences in roll length, width, and thickness can place significantly different loads on the motor. Improper rolls can damage the motor and body, and any resulting damage will void the warranty.

⚠ Notice for Non-US CustomersAll units only come with a US power adapter.
AC 100-240 V input, DC 12 V 2 A output.
DC barrel connector: 5.5 × 2.1 mm (5521).
You can replace it with an adapter that matches the same voltage, has the same or higher amperage rating, and uses the same 5521 connector, with the AC plug shape needed for your country.
