Choose a fleece roller for your aquarium
Start with the filtration layout and confirmed physical fit. Tank volume is a useful guide, but the chamber opening, water path, and space for changing the roll determine which automatic fleece roller will work in your setup.
N-Clear Nano: compact AIO chambers
Designed for documented 10–50 gallon all-in-one aquarium layouts. Some tanks fit directly; others need a model-specific N-Fit Nano adapter.

N-Clear M: sock sumps and larger layouts
Designed for supported standard 4-inch filter sock positions and larger AIO chambers. Check the holder shape and nearby plumbing even when the opening is labeled 4 inches.
- 61 mm / 2.4-inch fleece width.
- General sizing: one M for 30–60 gallons, two for 60–120, or three for 120–180.
- Final quantity depends on active filtration openings, actual flow, and bioload.

What should I measure before ordering?
Check the opening, space below it, operating water level, and overhead access for removing the roll. For an unlisted or modified tank, use our AIO chamber measurement guide and contact us before assuming it will fit.
Should I buy a Main unit or an Extension?
A Main unit includes the controller needed to run the filter. An Extension is an add-on, not a standalone filter. Use the Main, Extension, and kit guide to match the configuration to your filtration paths.
Which replacement fleece rolls do I need?
Nano and M use different roll widths. Choose replacement rolls labeled for your filter model, with one-time purchases and Auto-Refill options available.
