Setup & Usage Notes

Before installing or cleaning: Disconnect power before installation, removal, or cleaning. Keep the controller, power adapter, and electrical connections dry.
Installation: Follow the manual to install the filter and set the sensor with clean fleece and normal return flow. Read the N-Clear M User Guide → · Get help setting the starting water level
Fleece rolls: Please do not use third-party fleece rolls. Differences in roll length, width, and thickness can place significantly different loads on the motor. Improper rolls can damage the motor and body, and any resulting damage will void the warranty.
Adapter water bypass: A small amount of water may flow around the adapter, as it does with traditional filter-media baskets. This minor bypass is acceptable and does not significantly affect overall filtration efficiency.

Great Upgrade for My Sump Filtration!

I've only been using the Nature's Dimension N-Clear M Automatic Fleece Roller Filter for a couple of weeks, but so far, I'm very happy with it! My tank hasn't skipped a beat since installing it, and everything has been running smoothly.

The adapter to fit my Eshopps sump fit perfectly, making the installation easy and hassle-free. My first roll also looks like it's going to last a good long while before needing to be replaced, which is a big plus.

The best part is no longer having to swap out Poly-Fil or clean and replace filter socks every week (or even more often). The convenience alone makes this feel like a worthwhile upgrade.

It's still early, but so far, so good! I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs long-term. Definitely a promising addition to my setup!

So far so good

So far so good, only been a couple of weeks. I installed two in the sump of my eshopps MP100 using two printed 4" sock holders. I'm running two with a single controller. I placed the roller without the sensor in the first chamber so it clogs first then overflows into the second which then advances them both. I have the sensor as high as it can go hoping to extend the fleece life. Set up was easy. Hopefully we'll see a 7" version so I can add a couple to my WB 330.7 😉

Ordered the main + 2 extensions for my FijiCube Pro -36 sump. Arrived well packed with no issues. Set up took about 15 mins and works amazing. I change the rollers and clean the units about every month. Wish I would’ve been able to buy these sooner!

Crystal clear water. Quiet operation. Amazingly functional. Plus it looks cool!

I ordered the main plus extension of the M roller. Initially it came with one bad motor but N-Clear was quick to ship a replacement which arrived about a week later. I don't often hear the rollers turning but it's definitely happening because the return roll is really dirty. It's awesome to see all of that being pulled out of my tank. I used fleece pads before and even though I changed once per week they were typically saturated with gunk. My water looks clearer and my corals genuinely look happier. The stickers they sent add a nice pop of color to the rollers and along with my protein skimmer, it all looks pretty neat. These fit perfect in my IM Fusion 40 filter sock spot with the N-Clear adapters and all of the water from the overflow looks to be flowing directly through the fleece. It's very quiet compared to the filter caddy I replaced. These filters are a major upgrade to what I had and I honestly believe this is the best product on the market right now. Especially at this price point.
