Special Instructions for V2 Controllers

How to Tell if Your Controller is V2 or V1

Press the MODE button to switch among different modes.

Controller Version	MODE Button Behavior	Available Modes	Description
V1	Press the MODE button to switch between two modes: • MODE light off → Normal Mode • MODE light blinking → High Efficiency Mode	2 Modes	Original version with standard sensor-based control.
V2	Press the MODE button to switch between three modes: • MODE light off → Default Mode • MODE light blinking → Long Delay Mode • MODE light on (solid) → Timer Mode	3 Modes	Current controller version that adds Long Delay and Timer Modes for additional control options.

Tip: If your controller’s MODE light can stay solid on, your controller is a V2.

MODE (V2)

Mode	MODE Light	Description	Recommended For
Default Mode	Off	Motor turns when the sensor remains submerged for more than 30 seconds.	Normal daily use.
Long Delay Mode	Blinking	Motor turns when the sensor remains submerged for more than 10 minutes. Prevents false triggers when the return pump is off during feeding or maintenance.	Tanks where the return pump is often turned off.
Timer Mode	On (solid)	Motor runs for 7.5 seconds every 12 hours, not affected by the sensor. One roll lasts about 30 days. When the roll is small (new), each turn moves less fleece; as it grows, each turn moves more. This is normal and does not affect performance.	Tanks with raised water levels or users who prefer fully automatic operation.

ALARMS

ALARM Light	Meaning	How It’s Triggered	What Happens / How to Fix
Off	Normal operation.	Default state when the controller is functioning properly.	No action needed.
Blinking	Feeding pause.	Triggered by pressing the PAUSE button once.	Automatically resumes after 30 minutes, or press the PAUSE button twice to return to normal immediately.
On (solid)	Manually stopped.	Triggered by pressing the PAUSE button twice.	Automatically resumes after 12 hours, or press the PAUSE button once to return to normal immediately.
On + Beeping	Alarm — motor has been running too long, often caused by incorrect water level or sensor height.	Triggered automatically when the motor runs continuously beyond its safe limit.	Check water level and sensor position. Auto-resets after 12 hours but may trigger again if the issue is not fixed. Press the PAUSE button once to force reset.
